DID YOU MAKE MONEY TODAY? IF NOT, WHY NOT?
DID YOU MAKE MONEY TODAY? IF NOT, WHY NOT?
There’s a late afternoon show on the Fox Financial station where the question is posed: Who made money TODAY?
It’s a delicate question. Did you make money TODAY? If not, why not? What was your purpose?
In business, making money is the #1 priority every day. However, you don’t necessarily have to have collected it to have made it today. If the sun sets without knowing that you have turned a profit from the preceding 8, 9, or 10 hours, you have failed.
Define Success and Failure
Many people fail because they are not challenging themselves enough. Many people don’t even have success and failure clearly defined for themselves in manageable terms. It’s hard to score yourself as an archer without targets.
What Should You Change
This is the key to success. What did not work yesterday? The faster you find the answer, the quicker you can solve the problem. Usually, your sales are the best place to look. Did you give too many discounts, sell obsolete inventory, or incorrectly price some products?
Selling outdated or old products is good; you must do this occasionally. However, you need the top sellers and the cash flow to purchase these items. Planned marketing efforts should always be considered normal when budgeting your sales programs. As you can see, many of a day’s sales or expenses can be expected if you plan for these situations.
Make a Checklist
Therefore, if you make this list, you can quickly identify what happened on any particular day. Using this list will help you every time you need to review what happened on any given day. Take the time to create it once. END SLEEPLESS NIGHTS IN 30 MINUTES
This checklist can save you many hours throughout the year. Consider yourself as NIKE- JUST DO IT.
